The family-operated company Berief focusses on the thermal treatment of food. Berief excels in offering a very high degree of flexibility, since machines, plants and even entire production lines can be designed according to specific customer requirements. The highly qualified Berief staff and the modern construction and production potential form the basis for such enormous flexibility.

With CAD systems and the latest manufacturing techniques in place, in addition to standardized machines and plants, Berief is also able to develop and construct very specific processing lines. Furthermore, the numerous customers of Berief have the opportunity to test the manufacturing of their products in our dedicated test centre, the Berief-Technikum. The insights and results gained there provide a sound basis for the development of new processing lines. Thanks to this elaborate and unique feature Berief develops innovations that are directly based on customer requirements.

Product Portfolio

Berief’s electric tilting fryers are found in many industrial commercial kitchens because their even heat distribution makes them suitable even for preparing smaller batches. Liquid products such as sauces, dressings, or desserts can be prepared optimally in the dispersing kettle. The various Berief high-pressure steam cooking kettles with swiveling basket inserts prove to be particularly flexible, as they can be used individually or, for certain processes, combined with a cooling unit. With Berief’s continuous industrial wok, a wide variety of dishes can be fried and cooked.
 
Standard systems are often customized to meet individual customer requirements. Production lines for batch or continuous production are developed in collaboration with the customer to meet the required output. In addition, Berief handles the Europe-wide distribution of continuous cooking systems with direct steam for an Australian manufacturer.

KODUKO / KODUKÜ Line

Among other things, rice and pasta products are cooked and vegetables are blanched in the system. The process water is heated and cooled indirectly using steam or a cooling medium in heat exchangers.

ContiWok

Food is constantly turned by rotating the roasting drum around its horizontal axis. This turning is supported by an agitator.

KIPPKO 400 JUNIOR

The KIPPKO 400 JUNIOR tilting kettle was developed to equip smaller batch sizes in the industry and also in the catering sector with this modern technology.

Continuous Steam Tunnel

The steam cooking tunnel is used for steaming and (re-)cooking rice, meat products, fish, vegetables and other foods.
